HOW TO CREATE A NETLIBRARY ACCOUNT FROM THE KANSAS LIBRARY CARD
- Be
sure the Web browser you’re using is Internet Explorer, Netscape, Firefox
or Mozilla.
- Be
sure the Web browser is set to accept cookies.
- Point
your browser to the Kansas Library Card (KSLC) login screen at www.kslc.org (figure 1).

- Login
to your Kansas Library Card account with your PIN and date of birth. On
the Databases available page that follows, click on the netLibrary link
(figure 2).

- Click
on the “Create a Free Account” link near the upper right hand corner of
the netLibrary homepage (figure 3).
NOTE: If you have a personal
firewall installed on your computer, it may be necessary for you to either
create a custom security rule for the netLibrary domain or disable the firewall
completely. See http://www.skyways.org/kslc/firewalls.pdf
for instructions about how to do either one.

- Key in
the required information plus any additional information you choose to
furnish (figure 4).

- Click
on the “Create Account” button (figure 5).

- If the
combination of username and password you’ve selected is already in use,
you will be prompted to try again. Continue until your account is
validated.
- Remember
your username and password for future use. In the future, you can login to
your account by clicking on the “Log In” link in the upper right hand
corner of the netLibrary homepage, then entering your username and password
in the boxes provided in the Login webpage.
