Most Kansas libraries use the InfoTrac Web databases via the link on Blue Skyways. The Kansas State Library encourages library subcribers to obtain individual InfoTrac URLs.
Working with Thomson Gale to set up a URL specifically for your library's access to the databases:
- will enable separate accounting of your use of the databases
- will make it possible for remote access to your account to be implemented (subject to your ability to provide necessary data and access to Thomson Gale)
- will allow you more ways to customize your own search interface to best serve your users.
