I know my Great Grandmother was Rachel Pearly Yates and later married Henry Bell Reed at Gridley in Coffey County.; Sam McCullough is very familiar. I was born in Gridley in Coffey County Ks. I did get a lot of info at the Coffey County Museum in Burlington. You might try there. They do have a number which is 888. 1-888 877 2653. I thought they had an e-mail address but can't find it now.
