Probate files from Douglas County District Court 1857 - 1955 Spencer Library has "Index to Estates 1857 to 1965." In this index, the Page Number is the same number Spencer Library used for their File Number. After finding the File Number, use the library's notebook containing list of File Numbers, showing location and Box Number of File. They have other indexes, but this one is comprehensive. KU Sp WCM has an Index to Estates for 1857 - 1921.
