My great-great-grandfather Calvin FIGGINS was stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas as a member of the standing army in the years shortly after the Civil War. Apparently, he got into some kind of trouble while stationed there and deserted. Can anyone suggest how I can go about finding information about his disciplinary and desertion records? Thanks.

Looking for Nellie Wetz Hanson who lived in Leavenworth from about 1900 to as late as 1950's. She sometimes used the names SMITH and/or GROVER. She was temporarily living with relatives in Atchison, Kansas in the middle 1950's. She has apparently just dropped out of site. I believe she died in the early to mid 1960's. Does anyone remember her, or has anyone heard of her? Dorcas Low
