Jennie Mable Hearst was born in Somerset England Sept. 27 1868. She came to USA around 1880 we believe as possibly an indentured servant to the warden at the prison in Leavenworth. Thinking that this may be, we need to know the name of the warden to see if she is listed as living with his family in 1880/1885. She married William Eldred in Leavenworth on Sep 3 1889. Any place I can go to find out who the warden was around 1880/85?

I have reason to believe that my grandfather's younger brother may have spent time in or even died in leavenworth prison. His name was Burnish "Burn" Holder and in 1942 he was listed in an family obit as living in Wadsworth KS. An elderly aunt seems to remember him being in prison in Kansas and she thought he died March of 1954 possibly while in prison. How can i find out if he was in prison??? who would i contact to get copy of records ...such as prison records, death certificate, obit etc ??
any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks, Phyllis

I am looking for family information for Micheal A. Collins who was buried on September 28, 1945 in the Veteran's Cemetery with ranking of "Private, 12th Cavalry", Section 39, Row 10, Grave 14. I am not sure what war he was in or where he was from. I believe he may be the brother of my uncle and want to find the links to his family.
Thank you.

Hello, My Grandmother and Grandfather are currently buried at Mount Muncie cemetery under the name of Frank W. Butzin. According to my mother, my Grandmother's relative are also buried in the same cemetery. Their last name was Pratt. My Grandmother's father and mother's name was William and Elizabeth. Her brothers and sister's name was Thomas, William, Robert, Steve, Lizzie Batzin and Bertha Hubert. Her dad died in 1907 and her mother died either 1902 or 1903. Could you tell me if they are buried there and if there is any obituary on any of them. Your assistance will be greatly appreciated.
Thank You.
