I am seeking information on LYDIA (FRANCIS) WILLIAMS, wife of my great-grandfather, Bvt. Brig. Gen. JAMES MONROE WILLIAMS. He moved to Leavenworth from Wisconsin in 1856. Married LYDIA FRANCIS in 1856. Daughter, FRANCES WILLIAMS born in 1858. He had a book and stationery shop at #45 Delaware in 1860, lived in Pilot Knob area (per 1860 Leavenworth Directory). He was active in abolition activities, captain in 5th KS Cav 1861-62, colonel of 1st KS Col Vol Infantry 1863-1864, brevet brigadier general with brigade of Frontier Division 1865. Residences in his name were listed in Leavenworth directory throughout war years. He returned to Leavenworth November 1865, stayed a few months, became an officer in 8th US Cavalry in Arizona. There is no note nor record of Lydia or Frances after the war. He was granted a divorce by act of AZ Territorial Legislature in 1867. I'd like to know what happened to Lydia and their daughter.

Hello,
I’m interested in finding the grave site of an ancient relative, Andrew Calhoun. According to the Fall Creek Cemetery page, he is buried there. I know from other sources that he was killed in a mill explosion, as mentioned on the main page. Any help would be appreciated.
