EUNICE CAMP

She was born Dec. 25, 1918 in Leavenworth, the daughter of H. E. Sr. and Anna Morales Moore. She was a lifelong Leavenworth resident and was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church and the Ladies aid Society of the church.

She was married July 18, 1936, at Platte City, Mo., to Anson W. Camp, who survives.

Other survivors include a son, Steven Camp, a daughter, Mrs. Eleanor Denney, and her mother, Mrs., Anna Moore, all of Leavenworth; two brothers Howard Moore, Enid, Okla., and Guy W. Moore, Leavenworth; a sister, Mrs. Ann Foy, Leavenworth, and six grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul Lutheran Church. Burial will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.

Friends may call at the Belden Sexton Sumpter Funeral Chapel, Fifth and Oak, after 10 a.m. Friday.

The family suggests memorials to the Cancer Fund or St. Paul Lutheran Church.

Joseph Fink

Mr. Fink was born Oct. 20, 1919, in Leavenworth, the son of Peter and Mary Weisinger Fink. He was married to Monica Hund. He was a farmer and a member of St. Joseph of the Valley Church.

Surviving him are his widow of 516 N. Fifth; a son Joseph E. Fink, 138 Garland; a daughter, Mrs. Jeanne Wells, RR 4; three brothers, Peter Fink, Jr. RR 4, Lois Fink, 122 S 16th, and Henry fink, 1119 Metropolitan; two sisters, Mrs. Ann Bott, RR 1; and Mrs. Mary Forge, RR 4, and three grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited by friends and members of the parish at 8 p.m. Wednesday at the Belden-Sexton-Sumpter Funeral Chapel. 518 Shawnee.

The funeral for Joseph L. Sienkowski, 57, formerly of Leavenworth, who died Monday in New York City, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday in St. Casimir Church. Burial will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
Mr. Sienkowski was born at Leavenworth March 24, 1919. He attended St. Casimir School and graduated from Leavenworth High School. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his mother, Mrs. Mary Bietka, Kansas City, Kan.; a brother, Edward Sienkowski, Los Angeles, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. Erleen Goodak, Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Elizabeth Swanson, Sharen Springs, Kan.
The Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Larkin Funeral Home. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Tuesday.

ADDIE RYAN dies May 3, 1976

Mrs. Ryan died Monday night in Cushing Memorial Hospital. She was born Oct. 28, 1900, at Leavenworth, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G. Knapp.

She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Church.

She was married in 1956 at Platte City, Mo., to Joseph W. Ryan. He survives at the home.

Other survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Lena Adams, RR 1, and Mrs. Augusta Wright, Narka, Kan.; three sons, Robert Schonherr, New Berry Park, Calif., Liggo R. Schonherr Sr., Lansing, and George Schonherr, address unknown; and 16 grandchildren.

The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. today in the Davis Funeral Chapel, where friends may call.

INDEPENDENCE, MO. -- Alex Bietka, a native and former resident of Leavenworth, died Wednesday at a nursing home here.
His death came the day before his 79th birthday which would have been today. He lived in Leavenworth until moving to Independence three years ago. Before his retirement in 1962, he was a warehouse forman at Ft. Leavenworth.
He was a Catholic.
Mr. Bietka is survived by a son, Alex E. Bietka, Kansas City, Kan.; a daughter, Juanita Hutchins, Blue Springs, Mo.; a brother, Vincent Bietka, Leavenworth; a sister, Mary Dowell, Kansas City, Kan.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be at 11 A.M. friday at Carson's Independence Chapel at Independence and at 1:30 p.m. at the graveside in Mt. Calvary Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral chapel.

Henry Forge

Funeral services will be a 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery.

Mr. Forge was born in Leavenworth County on May 1, 1896, a son of John and Mary Kelly Forge. He had been a farmer all of his life.

He was a member of St. Joseph Parish. Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 56 and a veteran of World War I. He and the former Gertrude Lee were married in 1932.

Other than his widow of the home, he is survived by two sons, the Rev. Henry Leo Forge, Kansas City, Kan., and Richard Forge, 1304 Franklin, two daughters, Mrs. Winnie Jackson, RR 4; three brothers, John Forge, Louis Forge and William Forge, all of RR 4, and four grandchildren.

A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m today at the Belden Sexton Sumpter Funeral Chapel for friends and members of the parish.

Leavenworth-Miss Drusilla Wilson Coffin, 96, of a nursing home in Leavenworth, who was Leaveworth County superintendent of schools 18 years before she retired, died Monday at a hospital here.
Miss Coffin had taught in rural schools in the Leavenworth area. She was a member of the Friends Church in Springdale, Kan., near Leavenworth. She was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Sorority, the Byington Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star, and the Leavenworth Art League in Leavenworth and the Springdale Home Missions Society, the Springdale Homemakers Club and the Retired Teachers Association. She was born in Carmel, Ind., and lived in Leavenworth County 94 years.
She leaves a brother, Charles COFFIN of near McLouth, Kan., and a sister, Mrs. Hazel Jenkins, 2512 N.E. 52nd Terrace.
Services will be a 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Davis Chapel, Leavenworth; burial in Friends Cemetery, Springdale.

  ERNEST O. KORTH, 68, 1224 Randolph, died today in the Leavenworth    County Convalescent Infirmary.  He suffered a stroke in 1970 and had    been in failing health since that time. 

  He was born June 28, 1908, at Leavenworth, the son of Otto P. and    Martha Butzin Korth. 

  He was a woodworker for Helmers and a pattern maker for Kramers Co.,    until he became ill. 

  He was a Christian Scientist.

  He was married to Helen Hallaux on Oct 17, 1927, at Leavenworth.  She    survives at the home. 

  Other survivors include three sisters, mrs. Freda Woodard, 802    Pawnee, Mrs. Edan Asbury, 1129 Spruce and Mrs. Margarite Donnell, RR    4.   

  The funeral arrangements are pending at Larkin Funeral Home.  Burial    will be in Sunset Memory Gardens.  Friends may call at the Larkin    Funeral Home.

  EUGENE BUTZIN, 79, of 508 S. 10th Street, died Saturday afternoon at    Cushing Memorial Hospital. He was born October 10, 1897 at    Leavenworth and was a son of Ferdinand and Martha Zoller Butzin.  He    was retired from the Kansas State Penitentiary.

  At Kansas City, Kan.   , on June 10, 1924 he was married to Pearl Balz.  Mrs Butzin died in    1955.

  He was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie No. 55    and was a past president.

 He is survived by one son, Eugene F. Butzin    Jr., 508 S. 10th Street, and two grandchildren, Mrs. Peggy Hundley,    Lansing, and Mark Butzin, 508 South 10th Street. Funeral services    will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at the Davis Funeral Chapel. 

  Interment will be in the Mt. Muncie Cemetery.  Memorials may be given    to Cushing Memorial Hospital.  Friends may call at the Davis Funeral    Chapel after noon today.
