I am researching BUTLER, WOOD, OSBORNE, MENGES, KIRBY, DECKER
I have lots of information on HALL who migrated from Ohio to
Bourbon County in the late 1800's. They came from Ohio, Indiana, and Iowa.
I would like to correspond with other researchers of these
Surnames. I have much info to share, but need help filling
in the blanks.

Trying to find the links from ZADOC RITTENHOUSE and/or JOSHUA RITTENHOUSE
to Joe E Rittenhouse and/or Charles F Rittenhouse all from Linn County
Kansas. All are buried in the Trading Post Cemetary. Zadoc and Joshua
are believed to have moved to Kansas from St Clair county Ill after Zadoc
left the 51st Il Inf in 1864. Alternate spelling of last name RITTINGHOUSE and I have seen it as
RETTINGHOUSE.

LINN COUNTY QUERY:
I'm searching for info on Benjamin and Margaret HAMILTON family, who
lived in Linn Co. from roughly 1880 till their deaths in the early 1900s.
They may have lived earlier in neighboring Anderson Co, but both are
buried in Oakwood Cemetery in Centerville. Anyone searching along these
lines?

My maternal 2nd. great grandfather Samuel M. ROBINSON b. 1843 in Lincoln,
Logan Co., IL, d. 18 April 1904 in Blackwell, Kay Co., OK. He married 5
June 1866 in La Prairie, Adams Co., IL to Nancy Marriah MORAN (daughter
of John MORAN and Sarah WALKER.).

was born in Ohio, William L. ROBINSON 18 born IL, Angeline ROBINSON 5 born IL
and Joshua COLEMAN 61 born VA who was a Pauper.

ANDERSON, John W. and Sarah E. (Sinclair) lived in Wilson Co, Pleasant
Valley Twsp. Ward PO. from 1867 (approx) to 1897 when they died there. I
have probate naming children. (They moved there from Linn Co., KS) John
W. and Sarah E were married in 1843 in Macoupin Co. IL. I am searching
for parents, siblings of John W. Anderson. He was born in Indiana about
1823.

Married to Mary Ann LITZINGER, b. 2 Feb. 1816, PA; d. 1890
Crawford co., KS. They were married; 23 July 1843, Fountain
county, IN. The parents of Samuel are Joshua and Margaret
(maiden name unknown). Joshua dies in Fountain county, IN in
1838 and the last recording of Margaret in Indiana is the
1850 Fountain county census.

ALEXANDER, Blue Mound, Linn Co Ks
Robert S ALEXANDER m Anne M HAYS 1872 in Ironton, Lawrence Co Ohio. Lived
Blue Mound 1872, had five sons; Wilford, James, Robert Guy, Harry and
Edward Price. Anne took youngest son, Edward back to Beaver Co Pa c 1894
and never returned to Ks. Robert remarried Etta DIZMANG c 1900 and two
more cldn, Robert and Ruth. Robert was a farmer and teacher.
At least one of his sisters also went to Ks. I think her name is Rebecca
"Bird" ALEXANDER WOLFE. Any info appreciated.
