Linn Co. Cem Need inscription from stones from Linnville cem. Paris Twp. Linn Co KS.
Elizabeth Andrews Merriman is buried there prob. 1893. Need any Andrews, Burkhead,
or Merriman dates. Also Barton Johnson-Johnston living Centerville Twp. 1920 census.
These families all moved from Adams Co IN to Linn Co. Green Merriman, husband of Elizabeth
Andrews died about 1941-1945, supposedly buried Linnville cemetery.

VINCENT and CATHERINE BEARNES DALLY came to LINN Co., KS in 1860 from KNOX Co., OH.
Children coming with them were Clifford W. and Margaret. While in Linn Co they added
Bea and Philip. They purchased land at Mound City and in southwest part of county.
They remained in Linn Co. 15 yr. and moved to Barton Co, MO. Entry in their Family
Bible states Philip died as young child in KS. Can not find where he was buried. Can any
one help me? In some cases the names were spelled BARNES and DALLEY. Thank you. Charles F

Alexander COX m. Mary SANDERS July 2, 1856. They lived in Mound City, Linn County, and had Joseph, Braxton,
Francis Marion, Olive, and Wiley COX. After Elizabeth's death in October 8, 1871, Alexander m. Amelia M. RAGAINS
and had Johnie, George, Mary, Jessie Elsworth, Laura, Emma, Walter, Florence and Lizzie COX.
Son Joseph H. COX m. Alvarada BOSELY, dau of Perry BOSELY.
Any information about any of these surnames would be greatly appreciated.

FRI-GOOD Am looking for any information about my grandparents, who owned a farm near New Lancaster, KS. Their
mailing address was LaCygne (Linn County) KS. My grandfather was Frank Armor FRI, Sr. b. 24 Mar 1894, d. 30 Apr 1984.
He married Nettie Ethel GOOD in June of 1919, Bates Co., MO. She was b. 24 Jun 1898, d. 5 Feb 1979. They had two sons,
Frank Armor FRI, Jr., b. abt 1923 and Basil Julius FRI b. 16 Nov 1928 Bates Co., MO, this is my adoptive step-father.
Basil FRI now resides on the farm of my grandparents. My grandfather was in the Army in WWI (1917-1919), he
married my grandmother after returning from the war. They bought their farm after 1928 and lived there until both of

greatgrandfather, Allen Wiley RUSSELL b. 1849 in Indiana and died in 1893 in Linn co. My grandfather, Donald Delos RUSSELL,
B.1883 in Parker Ks, d. 1918 in Parker ks. He had a brother named Merle Allen RUSSELL and a sister named Anna Belle RUSSELL.
My dad Carl RUSSELL, b. 1908 in Parker, Ks. He had three sisters; Thelma Opal b. 1902: Laura Hester, b. 1905 and Dolores B. 1910,

ca. 1870 to before 1893. Peter MENGES is said to buried in Fulton
area. Death date is unknown. Sarah died 1893 in Bourbon Co.,KS.
I descend from their son, Wm L. MENGES who m. Harriett KIRBY of
Prescott area, 1889.

Looking for any information in LINN County (Boicourt), on
William Morris GUY and family. They arrived in LINN County
sometime between 1888 and 1903 from Atwood KS. Family members
would have included Mary Ann LICKLIDER/GUY and Jay D. GUY.
Jay D. Married Edna Thetis CONSTABLE of Lee's Summit MO in
Boicourt, KS abt 1906. Their daughter was Sarah Thema GUY.

Looking for John CIRCLE who is listed in the "History of Wilson
County, Kansas, 1902"
John was the son of John CIRCLE, who died in the early 1850s in Scotland
County, MO? or VanBuren Co. Iowa?
After his fathers death John moved to Wilson County, where he is listed
in the 1860 US Census
in Wilson County. John is listed with his wife, Mary Ann Davis in
VanBuren Co. Iowa April 26 1845.
They had 4 children listed in the 1860 census, Margaret 14, Charles, 12,
Louis 7, William 3. He was also listed in the 1870 Woodson Co. KS
census, but need to find that information. John and his family setteled
at the forks of East and West Buffalo Creeks in Wilson CO abyt the spring
of 1858.
Any information on John CIRCLE, his father, and any other family
(Including Willaim CIRCLE, his younger brother who was in Linn County in
1860 and moved his family to Oregon by 1870) members will be appreciated.
It is poossible ancestors of John may stiil be in Kansas.

Looking on information on Ambrose & Nancy (FOX) WILLIAMS.
Ambrose was named guardian of Nancy DIX in Labette County, KS in
Jan 1870. Nancy married Alviss VAUGILDEN in Labette County
1 Sept 1870. They moved to Labette County from Linn County, KS
about 1868 & lived in Louisa County, IA before that. I have
very little other information on any of the above, but beleive
they may have returned to IA in later 70's.
Ambrose & Nancy are my GGG Grandparents. Any information would
be greatly appreciated.

had 7 children 6 in Blue Mound. Sidney Logan, Neonetta Attose, Nancy
Amanda, Howard Benjamin, twins Malinda Ora and Mary Ona, and Sarah Loraine from Gueda Springs.
