| Obituary of ANNA C. HARMS |
| Anna C. Harms, 99, retired farmer, died
Jan. 26 at Moundridge Manor. Services were held Jan. 29 at Parkview
Mennonite Brethren Church, Hillsboro, with Tim Sullivan officiating.
Burial was at Springfield Cemetery near Lehigh. She was born Oct. 16, 1900, to John L. and Margaretha Klassen Thiessen on a farm northwest of Buhler. On Sept. 21, 1919, she was married to William W. Harms, who predeceased her. Survivors include four sons, Wilmer of North Newton, Marvin of Newton, Richard of North Newton and Verden of Hillsboro; a daughter, Elfrieda Thomas of Omaha, Neb.; four daughters-in-law, two sons-in-law, 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. A memorial fund has been established for the Center for Mennonite Brethren Studies at Tabor College. |
