Obituary of JERRY DON KLASSEN
Jerry Don Klassen, 56, farmer, died March 20 at his home in Hillsboro.

Services were held March 23 at Trinity Mennonite Church, Hillsboro, with Tim Kliewer officiating. Burial was at Haven of Rest Cemetery, rural Hillsboro.

He was born June 19, 1943, to Sam Klassen and Hulda Plett in Hillsboro. On March 28, 1964, he was married to Violet Funk, who survives him.

Survivors include two daughters, Anita Unruh and husband Warren of Tampa, and Amy Ratzlaff and husband Damian of Hillsboro; brothers, Lloyd of Hillsboro and Virgil of Mountain View, Ark.; and four grandchildren.

A memorial fund has been established for the Jerry Klassen Handicap Assistance Fund.
