| Obituary of MARY ANNE (WILLIAMS) MEYER |
| Mary Anne (Williams) Meyer, 60, a native
of Marion, died from cancer on March 25, 2000, at Houston, Texas. The daughter of John and Mabel Williams, she was born Jan. 21, 1940, and grew up in the Marion community, graduating from Marion High School. For the past 20 years she had lived in Houston, Texas. Survivors include her husband of 40 years, Allen, of the home; sons, Todd Meyers and his wife, Anita, Shawnee, and son Michael and his wife, Anita, Alvin, Texas; three brothers, John Reid Williams of El Cajon, Calif., Fred "Tim" of Marion, and Morris of Pinetop, Ariz.; her mother, Mabel Williams and a large extended family of Marion. A memorial service was held this morning (Wednesday) at the home of her brother, southwest of Marion. She was a kind and loving person who had many friends and admirers among friends and relatives. Contributions are suggested in her name to the American Cancer Society or Anderson Cancer Care Center, PO Box 572915, Houston TX 77257. |
