| Obituary of PAULINE MILLER |
| Services for Pauline Miller, widow of
former Marion High School coach Dale Miller, will be held at 10 a.m.
Saturday at Viola. Pauline A. Miller, 92, was born Jan. 3, 1908, at Fall River. A graduate of Friends University, Wichita, she was a teacher in Alaska, Midway Island, Taiwan, Newfoundland, Sicily, and Germany. She retired in 1972. She was married to Dale Graham Miller in 1930, at Custer, Okla. They made their home at Marion, where he was football coach and a teacher at Marion High School. They later lived at Wichita and Viola, as well as serving schools around the globe. She was a member of the Presbyterian church, Order of Eastern Star, and P.E.O. Survivors include their son, Dr. Dick D. Miller and his wife, Li-Chun, Chesterfield, Mo.; one sister, Bonnie Lenke, Springdale, Ark.; two grandchildren; and three great grandchildren. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Peotone Cemetery, Viola. |
