| Obituary of WILLIAM M. HESS, JR. |
| William M. Hess Jr., 66, died May 5, 2000,
at his home in Marion. Born Feb. 6, 1934, in Vesta #6, Pa., he was the son of William and Ruth (Rathbone) Hess. He married Linda Lou Cartright in 1954. He was a construction worker and carpenter. He is survived by two sons, William Hess III and Keith Hess, both of Marion; one daughter, Melody Ferea, Brownsville, Pa.; one brother, Don Hess, Marion; one sister, Patsy Sarket, Daisy Town, Pa.; his mother, Ruth Bredemeier, Marion; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Graveside services were held Tuesday morning at Marion Cemetery with the Rev. Bill Sherfy officiating. Casket bearers were William Hess III, Keith Hess, Don Hess, George Gore, Brian Hess, and Ronald Rainey Jr. Interment was in Marion Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the donor's choice of charities. |
