SUBJECT: Maher
My Grandfather was born in Blaine, Kansas. I believe 1878. to John and Bridgett Maher. I was wondering if there is a Catholic Church Cemetery in Blaine. Where the Mahers might be buried. And what the name of that church is. My grandfather, Thomas F. Maher is buried in California. I am curious about the Maher Family that lived in Blaine during 1865-1900. Is there any court or church records that might tell me a story. Thanks Judy

I am looking for the children of Henrietta May (Dolly) (nee Kingston) Ford and Harold Ford. May died in 1985 in Pottawatomie County, Kansas. Alfred Webster Kingston is my great-grandmother's brother. My great-grandmother was Elizabeth Alice Kingston who married Edward Parker Walker. Elizabeth Alice and her family lived in Canada, after emigrating from England, but my records show that May and Harold lived in Kansas, and May died in Kansas. SUBJECT: Simonton
I have been researching my wife’s family and I have finally found this man and his wife in the Louisville Cemetery. I also found him on the 1880 and 1900 census but have not been able to find anything else about him or his family. His name is Linsey M. Simonton and his wife’s name was Martha Locke, she apparently went by Mattie. They were raised in West Virginia but must have moved to Kansas after the Civil War. There are some other Simontons buried in the cemetery with them, I believe most of them are their kids, but that is all that I know. I wished I had the married names of their girls maybe I could get another lead that way. I would appreciate anything you all could do.

SUBJECT: Phillip and Mary Nee Courtney Smith
Searching for descendants to share with or anyone who can help me find details on a family J. B. White (wish I knew his first name) and wife Maria Griffith. They arrived to Pottawatomie Co, Kansas between 1857-59 from Jackson County, Missouri. Maria was born at Kentucky about 1825 & J.B. in Maryland about 1822 per the 1860 census. Maria's brother, Joshua migrated to Anderson County, Kansas. It appears J. B. died between the 1860 and 1865 census. Maria remained unmarried and at Pottawatomie Co. thru 1880 but by 1885 she'd moved near her brother in Anderson Co, KS. She had the following children with approximate BDs: George 1853, M. Elizabeth 1855, Jennie 1857, James W. 1859 & Darcas 1861. Appreciate any clues.
