I own a copy of the Standard Atlas of Rooks County Kansas, compiled and published by Geo. A. Ogle & Company Publishers and Engravers, Copyright 1904.  It was apparently owned by P. F. Hederhorst Stockton, Kansas as it is handwritten in the inside cover of the atlas.   The pages are in wonderful condition but the cover and binding is not.   I have transcribed all townships. I will scan in the plat map area of anyone listed on a first come first serve basis.  There are 64 pictures of the sponsors from the county in the back and I will scan in the picture of anyone you need.  There is also a Patron's Reference Directory in the back listing their name, occupation, section and township, address, and year came to Rooks County.  I will also be posting that information.  There are larger maps of the cities and towns and I will scan them in and post them.  Eventually I hope to have the entire section of Rooks County posted.  There are world maps in the back section but I will not post that information.  Please email me if you need a scan of a picture or someone's property, please give Name, Township and Section.  kyseeker@comcast.net  Some of the maps have a black rectangle with "res" over it and some are just black rectangles.  I only posted in the comments if there was a cemetery, church, spring, bluff, school, etc. listed for the property but none of the "res." unless it stated who's residence it was.  Some of the properties do not have any buildings marked, some properties have roads drawn in.  I have not proofread the listing but wanted to get posted what I have typed in and will hopefully get it proofread in the next few weeks.  This is the information for the following Townships:  Lanark, Farmington, Sugarloaf, Bow Creek, Alcona, Belmont, Stockton, Iowa,  Lowell, Medicine, Greenfield, Hobart, Rush, Richland, and part of Northampton.  The following  Townships will be added:  Logan, Plainville, Twin Mound, Corning,, Paradise, and Walton.  If you have any questions, please feel free to email me - Brenda Reeder.
