| January 17 | Michael Calwell, Mission | A re-enactor of the recent Lewis and Clark Corps of Discovery Expedition from the mouth of the Missouri to Montana and on to the Pacific Coast. Calwell, in period clothing, will demonstrate and describe the tools and other equipment that would have been used on that expedition. |
| February 21 | Elizabeth Lane, Librarian at Effingham Library | Lane is a professional Historical Researcher and Genealogist. Genealogy is about preserving family history for future generations and she has several helpful tips on how to do genealogy. |
| March 20 | Anne Thompson | Presents quilt with Underground Railroad coded quilt blocks. Thompson explains the codes of the various block designs used for the Underground Railroad during the years of slavery in America |
| April 17 | Hope Schawang, Librarian at the Falls City, NE Library | She will explain what all is available for research at that library. |

Rebecca Barnes, as a Hiawatha High School Sophomore, did a project for Biology class concerning diseases that are inherited. She went back 6 generations and has what her ancestors died from, so one can see if there is an inheritable disease in the family.
