Meet the Director... Jeff Russell joined Legislative Administrative Services in January of 1998, following retirement from SPRINT where he spent 28 years. He enjoys involvement in community affairs, having spent 15 years on the state chamber board, chairing the Leadership Kansas Board of Trustees, and holding elective office as a member of USD #437 Board of Education, where he spent two years as President. He served as President of the Kansas Business-Education Coalition, and currently serves on the Kansas Citizens Justice Initiative as a Commissioner.
He and his wife Connie are the parents of two daughters - one is a high school math teacher and the other is an attorney. His hobbies include golf, attending athletic events and spoiling his grandchildren.
