ACADEMIC SUPPORT CENTER

Goals:

The Academic Support Center's mission is to support the college's vision by providing services and materials for the intellectual, emotional, social development and cultural heritage of our students. The ASC plays an integral role in the instructional program of Haskell as well as every major activity of the college. The audiovisual/TV production services, tutorial and microcomputer laboratory are combined with the Tommaney Library in this endeavor.

Clientele:

The services of the Academic Support Center are for the needs of current Haskell students, faculty, and staff.

Authority:

  1. The function of the department is to fulfill one of the requirements of an accredited college.
  2. The responsibilities of the Academic Support Center Director includes setting departmental policies and procedures.
Purpose of Policies:
  1. To inform the Haskell students and employees of the services of the ASC.
  2. To provide day-to-day operational guidelines to the ASC employees for a smooth delivery of services.
Scope:
  1. To meet accreditation standards for the college.
  2. To provide the information for all users, students, employees, Alumni, Board of Regents, and visiting Tribal leaders.
