The TREEBARK is the official quarterly newsletter of the Southeast Kansas Genealogy Society (SEKGS) to provide information about genealogy and related material to its members and others. Publication dates are January, April, July, and October.

Queries: Members may submit three queries a year free of charge. Each additional ones are $1.00 each.
Nonmembers may submit queries of $1.00 each; about 50 words or less.

John Jackson has worked to find Civil War veterans buried in Kansas. He visited cemeteries and took pictures of the graves. He has obtained obituaries of those veterans when possible. Kathy Heidel is currently working with that web site.
