May 2001 -- Nicole is at Baker University, about to start her sophomore year. She is a member of Zeta Tau Alpha (a sorority dear to the heart of this webmaster -- one of her pledge sisters is even the daughter of one of my pledge sisters), public relations coordinator on Student Activities Council, belongs to FCA (Fellowship of Christian Athletes) and is concentrating on a major in elementary education. We warn you that teachers don't make a whole lot but it is a good life and I am glad some of you consider it.

February 2003: I have recently been promoted to a Customer Service Representative at The State Bank of Kansas. I open accounts, CDs, IRAs, etc. I have my own desk (yeah!) and my own business cards! I will be a loan officer by the end of the year. I am not attending ESU anymore, as I cannot graduate by taking night classes. I am, however, pre-enrolled to finish my education at DeVry Online. I can schedule my classes to fit my schedule this way and get my degree. I am pursuing a Bachelor's in Business Administration. I plan on working for this bank for a long time...maybe forever. You never know though. I really love my job, the opportunities that are presented to me, and the people I get to meet. I also really love Emporia. It's big enough to have a Wal-Mart, but small enough to avoid many of the negative things of a big city. I have a girlfriend (Erin) of two years and plan on marrying her...Just don't know when yet. She is from a 1A school (much like Lewis), and she is the most beautiful thing on the planet.
