Special Events
- Canton holds "Prairie Days" in June to celebrate the beauty of the early summer prairie. This event is held in conjunction with the annual Prairie Days at the Maxwell Wildlife Refuge.
- The McPherson County Fair is the third week in July. In addition to the exhibits, there's a rodeo and a demolition derby.
