  • Carson Lodge #132 whole hog sausage and waffle supper First Saturday in February, this year February 2, 2008
    4th Sunday Buffet Breakfast held on the 4th Sunday of each month from 7 a.m. to 11 a.m. Everyone Welcome, All you can eat $6.00, held at Masonic Lodge downtown Elk City

  • Easter Egg Hunt
    This year's annual Easter Egg Hunt will be held March 22, 2008. The hunt is sponsored by the VFW Post 7254 and VFW Auxiliary 1186 and the town & people of Elk City.

  • City-Wide Trades Day will be held Saturday May 3, 2008 includes crafts, baked goods and garage sales items.

  • Memorial Day
    is celebrated with the Alumni Banquet on Saturday May 24, 2008.
    VFW services 10:00 a.m. and decoration of graves at Oak Hill Cemetery. Oak Hill displays the Avenue of Flags.

  • Farmers Market
    begins each summer when produce becomes plentiful. It will continue every Saturday during the growing season, sponsored by the Elk City PRIDE organization.

  • Pride Awards Banquet April 19, 2008 at the communtiy building.

  • Pride Soup and Chili Supper January 19, 2008 in the Community Building. Begins 5:00p.m.

  • Old Settlers Day September 5th & 6th, 2008
    Activities include a parade, free bean feed, talent contest,tractor pull, games, horseshoe pitching contest, volleyball, Queen, Prince and Princess contest, pie auction, homemade salsa contest, watermelon contest among others.

  • Methodist Church Fall Supper October 18, 2008

  • Christian Church Turkey Dinner November 15, 2008

  • Christmas Light Contest sponsored by the Commercial Club.

  • Candy for Kids at Christmas is sponsored by the Commercial Club.
