Galva High Alumni Reunion
Once the heart of the community, the old
Galva High School building was constructed in 1916 for grade
school and high school students. During the oil boom in 1931 the
south wing or gymnasium was added. This building served the
elementary and high school students until a new elementary
school was built in 1956-57. The doors of Galva High School were
closed with the class of 1972. The alumni of Galva High School
still meet once a year on the first Saturday of June. For more
