Crawford State Park, north of town, offers a variety of outdoor fun: hiking
swimming, boating, skiing, fishing, and camping. Nature trails bring the
beauty of southeastern Kansas to visitors.
Bone Creek Reservoir, a 523 surface acre lake North and East of town, is stocked with large and small mouth bass, crappie, and more. One of the best fishing lakes in Southeast Kansas.
The city's parks include tennis courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds.
