THE ROARING LION

EDITOR, PDG TED HUTCHCRAFT                            JANUARY 1, 2007

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!  Hope that your Christmas was filled with family and much joy.

Aren’t we fortunate to live in a country where we can have so much?

We had a very nice Christmas Party, thanks to the committee chaired by Lion Pat Lackey.  It was further enhanced by the presence of District Governor David and Lion Diane Hentges.  It was also nice that some of the non-Lions who helped us in the concessions stand were able to attend.

DATES TO REMEMBER:

First of all, some Saturday in January, we will have a biscuits and gravy breakfast at the high school to help our prospective band earn some of the money for State/International Lions Band.  Stay tuned for more information.

Some of the regular meetings will have programs, although there are no specific ones scheduled at the moment.

President Kevin McKee brought in his son, Justin, in December, to be our newest Lion.  Now, the rest of us also need to bring in a new member for several reasons, of which the main reason is to lighten everyone’s load in the concessions stand.  Bringing in someone who will just be a number will not help us.

See you in 2007.
