Firemen's Ball
The ball held at the St. Joseph Communications Center in New Almelo
is a fundraiser for the volunteer fire department as well as a fun
evening of dancing

Easter Egg Hunt
Children gather at the school to gather candy eggs hidden by
Lenora PRIDE. There are enough eggs so that every kid
can find enough for a tummy ache.

Memorial Day
The Lenora Alumni Association holds their annual banquet in the Grade School
gym. Individual classes hold reunions at various locations. For more
information, see the Alumni Association page.Local citizens gather on the Sunday of the Memorial Day
weekend at the Lenora South Cemetery to honor those who
went before.

Lenora Jubilee
The celebration, held annually the third weekend of June, is
the big event for Lenora. It's kicked off on Friday evening
with a concert at the Grandstand featuring a Nashville entertainer
followed by a dance. Saturday morning features a downtown parade of old cars, tractors,
fire engine, bicycles, and horses. Spend the afternoon at Larrick Park enjoying
games for all ages and rides for toddlers. A variety of food vendors will be happy to feed you. During the evening, dance under the stars.
On Sunday afternoon, horse enthusiasts will enjoy the Gymkhana. For more

Halloween Costume Party
Adults and children gather on Main Street to compete in
various classes for costume prizes. There's a free hotdog supper and a
pumpkin contest, all sponsored by Lenora PRIDE. |

Christmas Soup Supper
An important part of the holiday festivities is the annual Soup Supper hosted
jointly by the Lenora Chamber of Commerce and the Lenora PRIDE
committee. The proceeds
are used to fund local needs.
Drawings for a variety of prizes are a highlight.
