Easter Egg Hunt
- The Easter Bunny arrives in Lucas the Saturday before Easter for the annual Easter Egg Hunt sponsored by the Lucas Lions Club.
Wings Over Wilson
- Wings Over Wilson takes place every year in June. The Slope Challenge is a national contest of remote control glider planes that is held at Wilson Lake. For information call ALden Shipp at 785-525-6208.
Lucas Alumni Reunion
- The Lucas Alumni Reunion is held the Sunday of Memorial Weekend at the Lucas/Luray Gym.
Lucas Area Community Theater Hog Roast
- The Lucas Area Community Theater Hog Roast Fundraiser is held in the Lucas Mini Park on Main Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on the Saturday of Memorial Weeekend.
State K-18 Baseball Tournament
- The K-18 Baseball program for kids 12-15 years old was started in Lucas in 1949. Teams from all over northwest Kansas play in the association. The state tournament is held the last week of July in Lucas.
Adams Apple Festival
- The Adams Apple Festival is held the Saturday of Labor Day weekend.
The 2009 festival will be held Saturday 5th.
The festival has fun for all with craft booths, parade, apple pie baking contest, games, entertainment, Kidde Tractor Pull, ATV, Lawn Mower and Truck Mudrun, free barbecue. More information will be added next year

Tri-City Garage Sales
- The Tri-City Garage Sales are held the first Saturday in October. The towns of Lucas, Sylvan Grove and Wilson have over 100 garage sales.
Haunted Lucas
- The annual event will be held October 25th. Progressive dinner and tours - 6-9 pm - The event will start with a Hayrack ride, tours will include Garden of Eden, Deeble House and Grassroots Art Center. Tours will be given by re-enactors like Dinsmoor, Inez Marshall, Florence Deeble, Ed Root and grassroots artists. Costs Adults $25.00, Kids 12 and under $12.50. Deadline to register October 20th. Spook Parade
- The annual Spook Parade is held the Saturday before Halloween. Kids parade past judges to have their costumes judged. Treats are handed out to all then a hayrack ride follows.
The Christmas Crafts Fair & Sloppy Joe Lunch

Santa Claus Day
- Santa arrives in Lucas the Saturday before Christmas. A Christmas movie is shown treats are given to all the kids and the merchants gifts are drawn for.
