Library Board
Members The Library Board
consists of 8 members. Karolyn Braun - President Kim McGuire - Vice President Roberta Payne - Treasurer Sue Nelson - Secretary Nancy Cadwell - Member Nancy Winter - Member Jenny Hughes - Member Jim Ford - Mayor
Board Meetings The Library
Board will meet once a month. The meeting time and place to be decided at
the December meeting by the Board members. Special meetings may be called
by the Chairperson or upon written request of the majority of the
members. Notice stating time and place of any special meeting and the
purpose for which called shall, unless waived, be given each member of
the Board at least two days in advance of such meeting and no business
other than that stated in the notice shall be transacted at such meeting. Library Board of
Trustee meetings are scheduled for the first Monday of the month at 5:30
pm at the Mulvane Public Library. In the event the first Monday is a
holiday, the meeting will be the first Tuesday at 5:30 pm. Mission Statement The mission of
the Mulvane Public Library is to provide a well balanced collection of
materials and services for community residents of all ages for personal
enrichment, enjoyment and educational needs. The library is dedicated to
promoting literacy and lifelong learning within the community. |
