Membership Dues

Becoming a part of your Library's Friends group is easy and inexpensive. Brochures with membership forms are available at the library. Membership dues are as follows and are renewable each October.

Individual $5.00

Family $10.00

Business/Organization $20.00

 

Special Opportunities

 

·         Celebrate a special day or event with a gift to the Friends.

·         Honor your loved one(s) by establishing a memorial or endowment in their name(s).

·         Honor a business by making a donation in their name for doing a great job.

 
 

 

Text Box: The Friends of the Mulvane Public Library is a volunteer organization devoted to strengthening the library's presence in the community. The Friends group performs a number of volunteer activities for the Library. • Raises funds for materials, programs and services not supplied by existing budget resources. • Organizes volunteer help. • Coordinates community interest events. • Informs public and government officials on legislative issues affecting the library and library users. • Creates public awareness of the activities of the Friends of the Mulvane Public Library. • Maintains an association of individuals, civic organizations, businesses, and other groups interested in the library. Monthly Meetings Monthly meetings are held at the Mulvane Public Library on the third Monday of each month at 6:30 p.m. unless prior notification of a change has been made. The Mulvane News will be notified of any change in date or time of meetings to update the community calendar. Annual Membership Meeting The annual membership meeting is held the third Thursday in October and consists of an entertaining program, summary of the year's activities, business meeting, election of officers, and refreshments.
