The
Mulvane Public Library was organized by the Federated Women’s
Club in 1921. After an
election we became a city library in 1928. The library has occupied
numerous buildings in the downtown area and is presently located in the
old Pix Theatre building in the heart of downtown Mulvane near the
clock tower.
The
library offers a great many programs year round to all ages. Call us or stop in. See our services link for a
complete listing of the services we provide the community.
We
welcome donations of books and other items. Unfortunately, we cannot accept
donations of magazines or encyclopedia sets. The donated items that cannot be
utilized in our collection will go in the Friends book sale and the
proceeds benefit the library.
