The Norwich Community Library has two purposes:
The Community Library within the High School in Norwich, Kansas
It is the duty of the library to provide a wide range of materials on all levels of difficulty with diversity of appeal and the presentations of different points of view.
The library will ensure that the students of the Norwich School are effective users of ideas and information pertaining to curricular and personal learning as well as provide services for the community members.
The library will provide the resources for curriculum support, materials for recreational learning, and instruction in information retrieval and management.

- to support and enrich the Norwich School curriculum and
- to provide for personal interests in self-directed knowledge building and recreational reading for all members of the Norwich community.
