Description

Oxford is located in eastern Sumner [SU] county just west of the Arkansas River. Highway US 160 runs east/west through town and is Main street. Most of the town's businesses are on Sumner street which runs north/south. There is a new city building with a public library at 115 South Sumner.

Places to visit in Oxford

• The old mill at Oxford, built in 1874, is no longer a water-powered flour mill; it's now a restaurant and gift shop. The "new" mill was built in 1935 now produces birdseed and conducts mill tours.
• Oxford has two City Parks. One is on the west edge of Oxford and the other on the east side of town by the Arkansas River.
