Community Health Foundation
The Sabetha Healthcare Foundation was created and articles of incorporation filed in
July, 1983.
The Foundation was organized exclusively as a 501(c)(3) philanthropic corporation with
charitable, educational and scientific purposes, including, but not limited to sponsorship
of specific projects and programs designated to improve healthcare and medical services to
citizens in the area served by the Sabetha Community Hospital, and in connection with such
activities, promote the general health and welfare of the public, and to encourage,
support and promote education, training and research programs.
The Foundation is governed by a Board of Directors, who are appointed to serve three
year terms. It is the responsibility of the board to receive any property or gifts,
to invest or disburse all assets so received, and to carry out the wishes of the donors.
