Golf

The Sabetha Golf Club, located in the rolling hills just north of town, offers one of the most picturesque nine hole grass-greens in this part of the country.  The club house and pool are a gathering place for dining and club activities.
 

*We are a non-profit private golf club.
*We have full golfing memberships, social memberships and Jr. memberships available.  One day memberships may be purchased for people living over 45 miles away.

Lakes

Sabetha Lakes are enrolled in the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) Community Fisheries Assistance Program (CFAP).  No local fees will be charged for fishing from the shoreline or from a boat.  All of the laws of the State of Kansas governing fishing regulations apply including license requirements. 
There are camping fees.

Rules and Regulations are Posted at the lakes and a copy can be picked up at sabetha city hall.

Daily Conditional Permits expire at 10:00 a.m. on the day after the date of purchase. 

Annual permits will be issued on a calendar year basis (January 1 through December 31).  A $5.00 service charge will be collected for not having permits displayed on the vehicle.

 Section Seven

Camping Regulations

 

 7.1  Camping shall be permitted only in designated areas of the Park.  No camper shall occupy a camping space for more than seven consecutive calendar days.  All approved camping spaces are on a first come first served basis with no reservations.  Any person   desiring to set up camp shall first pay the appropriate fee.  A camping permit is required per vehicle for all overnight stays.

Pony Creek Lake offers various outdoor recreational activities.  With a one day or annual boat permit, you may fish, camp and/or picnic at the various shelter houses located near the lake.

Sabetha Lake provides a place to boat and water ski.  With a one day or annual boat permit, you may fish, camp and/or picnic at the various shelter houses located near the Sabetha Lake.

This course is provided to hunters 11 years old and older.  The sign up sheet is available at the City Office prior to the class which is offered in the Fall.
