Much of the recreation in Sterling is centered around beautiful
Sterling Lake which offers many activities for families. At the
swimming pool lessons are offered during the summer. A beach
volleyball court equipped with lights is available for use at
any time. A Fourth of July Beach Volleyball Tournament is held
each year. Also available are horseshoe pits, tennis courts, a
walking path around the lake and several play areas for children.
Paddle boats are for rent during the summer months and fishing
is abundant with numerous spots around the lake. There are
camping facilities and three covered areas for picnics.
