Purpose of this WorkshopWhat we hope you'll get from this workshop
- This training is for the beginner who wants to design or maintain web pages. The ultimate goal is to guide the beginner toward building good, clear, well-designed web pages. In addition, the appendices and references provide a start toward continuing independent study in the area.
What we don't cover in this workshop
- Understand the basics of the Hypertext Markup Language (HTML)
- Be able to create web pages that adhere to good design principles
- Understand the process for uploading HTML pages to a web server.
HTML - HyperText Markup Language
- How to process an image for the web,
- Cascading Style Sheets (which are being used with more frequency),
- How to make things blink and generally annoy your audience,
- Any web design methods beyond basic HTML (of which there are a lot).
